about

The story of "Purple Clouds" takes place in a poetic mystery world and is about the memory of fantastic places and events, a deep longing and the redeeming knowledge to finally come home after thousands of years of struggle.

lyrics

Lyrics by Peter Philippe Weiss
Translated from German by Linus Peter

Verse 1:

A hovering city over an oil painting

With lively colour thrown on canvas

Flaring light in the call of the falcon

Light rooms within clouds

Lost in the wind of the tide

A dream returns to be washed away

An echo of ancient feeling

Faint memory of the light

Chorus:

Coming Home

Bridge:

Flying Centaurs and dragon riders

Lost in the ecstasy of battle

Purple clouds – in the mirror of the quicksilver lake

Verse 2:

She however, closes her eyes- and sees the afterimage of his soul
glowing on her retina

The Echo of his words. Retained forever in the murals of the tower.

Lost in the wind of the tides.

At the gates to eternity- guarded by cherubim

There she walks. Remembering of what there is to be.

(Violin solo)

Chorus:

Coming Home
